Meet Robin Hauser: A Speaker at Our Upcoming ESGx Event on August 18th
Robin Hauser is a businesswoman, longtime professional photographer, and social entrepreneur. She is also the director and producer of cause-based documentary films at Finish Line Features, LLC, and Unleashed Productions, Inc. Her films include; Bias, Running For Jim, Tino, and CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap.
Hauser brings her leadership skills, creative eye, and passion to her documentary film projects. Her artistic vision and experience in the business world allow her to have a unique perspective on what it takes to motivate an audience. Her most recent award-winning film, CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap, has caught the attention of the international tech industry and policymakers in both Washington, DC and abroad.
Most recently, Hauser has been directing and producing her film Bias, a documentary that surrounds unconscious bias and how it affects the ways in which we hire, promote, and fund.
Hauser has not been one to shy away from speaking out about the importance of increasing diversity in computer programming and on behalf of women’s rights at an increasing number of events including; Watermark, Conference for Women, Mobile World Congress, SXSW Interactive, AT&T Foundry FutureCast, Dell Women Entrepreneur Network, and Women 2.0
As the Director of CODE, Hauser has been featured in a variety of national publications: USA Today, Wired, Forbes, Fortune, The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Fast Company, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Marie Claire, San Francisco Business Times, and has appeared on Bloomberg TV, CNN, and NPR. Moreover, Robin was the recipient of the 2016 National Political Women’s Caucus President’s Award.
